HomeView: delivers the key capabilities to help both service providers and subscribers address the challenges of managing increasingly complex home networks. HomeView provides key home networking diagnostic information that subscribers and service providers can use to quickly identify and resolve home networking service issues. HomeView also simplifies home networking by making it easy to share files and printers within the home and troubleshoot many different types of device connections. In addition, the HomeView Gateway Module allows service providers to add sophisticated home networking management capabilities such as the in-home QoS.
Home Device Manager: allows service providers to remotely manage CPE, such as residential gateways, IP set-top boxes, and VoIP terminal adapters that comprise a home networking environment. The product offers single as well as large-scale bulk device configuration, troubleshooting, firmware upgrades, event management, user management and reporting, as well as a standardized CPE integration layer that gives providers a choice of CPE supported either by the Broadband Forum’s TR-069 or Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
Self-Service Manager: delivers automated problem diagnosis, resolution and service management capabilities across each of the primary support channels—electronic, phone and email. As a result, subscribers can easily self-manage their home networking services, solving support issues and managing their service experience without ever having to engage a CSR or request an onsite technician visit.
Customer Service Manager: helps CSRs quickly pinpoint the cause of subscriber problems and provide the most effective resolution for home networking service issues. The product gathers service data, or telemetry, from multiple sources to provide a complete end-to-end representation of a service as it exists in a subscriber’s environment. This information is compared to managed settings that ‘model’ the optimal working state of the service and help CSRs perform root cause analysis that drives rapid and accurate diagnosis and resolution of service problems.
Remote Control Module: provides customer service agents with remote access to a subscriber’s PC for more efficient troubleshooting of home network issues.
Chat Module: provides an easy to use, real-time online support interface for customer service agents to communicate with subscribers over to help walk them through problem detection and resolution.
Service Management Platform: offers fixed and mobile service providers a next generation service management platform and tool set capable of simplifying the definition, publication and execution of advanced service activation, troubleshooting and management logic across key elements of their existing service delivery ecosystem. Motive SMP offers the ability to comprehensively define and normalize key service and device configuration settings and management actions. With Motive SMP service providers have the ability to maximize existing investments in device management, OSS/BSS and NMS/EMS systems and extend service management visibility and control across the entire service delivery ecosystem. In addition call center, self care and 3rd party applications can consume normalized API’s without the need to have knowledge about underlying systems or devices.
